Took Scout (my terrier mix) out. Sun already getting warm. Didn’t plug in the music. Just walked. Felt weirdly quiet without my usual tunes. Passed Mrs. Henderson’s place – her garden is always wild and colourful. She was out watering. Gave a wave. She yelled over, “Morning!
